Welcome The purpose of this site is to share with you my collection of polished eggs made of minerals and stone, of wood and my decorative eggs, as well as very beautiful eggs owned by a friend and fellow egg collector. I have a collection of more than 1100 eggs made from material originating from over 60 countries and even two made of extraterrestrial material that was found in Namibia and Algeria. The collection of mineral and stone eggs is classified in alphabetical order, in numerical order, by country and by class. Under ‘Grouping’, you can see a page on eggs from Mont St-Hilaire, a page on fluorescent and tenebrescent eggs and a page on eggs made of fossil material. Under ‘New’, you can see my latest acquisitions. You can also see under ‘from rough to polished egg’ minerals specimens before and after they became eggs. All the missing numbers represent eggs that are no longer in my collection or specimens that are not eggs. In this site, clicking on a small picture gives you a larger one, and clicking on the large picture brings you back. Since December 2009 a browser has been added, so that when you click on a thumbnail you will see not only this picture in a larger format, but also at the top a meter giving the number of pictures in this section and an arrow to get back to the section, while with the arrows on the left and right side you will be able to navigate from one large picture to another.
